Somehow I made the tabloid section of the Gulf News, within my first week in Dubai? Is that ironic? I can barely get in and out of the grocery store alive, I'm still dealing with jet lag, couldn't tell you how to get to the beach unless I jumped in Dubai Creek and swam there. But there I am, right in the Sunday paper, like I have a clue. As if. The dude next to me is Sakib. He's less grumpy than he looks. Promise.
